What to bring on your hydrobike ride
- Bring only what fits in the storage cubby. Tall water bottles can tip in a boat wake, so stow them in the cubby; short tumblers and cans are best for the two cup holders.
- Life jackets are required, and we provide them.
- Phones: bring at your own risk, but most people do. A waterproof pouch helps.
- No alcohol and no glass. No costumes; LED wearables are welcome on glow rides.

The basics for any day, sunset or glow ride.
Waterproof phone pouch
Touchscreen works through it and the lanyard keeps it close. Phones: bring at your own risk, but most people do.
Floating keychain
Car keys float if they slip. Bright color, easy to spot.

Clips your hat to your shirt so a breeze doesn't take it into the bay.

Fishing Gear We Like
Fishing is in the bay, and the 2-Hour ride gives you the most time for it. We provide a rod holder; bring your own rod, tackle, bait and California fishing license. Keep your line from trailing behind the hydrobike while you pedal: line in the propeller stops the bike.

Water Bottles and Tumblers We Love
Every hydrobike has two cup holders and a storage cubby. Tall bottles can tip in a boat wake, so stow them in the cubby; short tumblers and cans are best for the cup holders. Water and soft drinks only: no alcohol and no glass on our rides.

Kids’ Beach and Boat Day
Ride-along kids ages 4 to 9 can ride with an adult on day rides, as long as the adult and child together weigh under 250 lb. No ride-along kids on sunset or glow rides. Life jackets are required for everyone, and we provide them.
